EAF x The Skinny Emerging Writers Award Edinburgh Art Festival (EAF) are teaming up with The Skinny to commission four emerging art writers to write about this year's EAF programme. The project aims to platform Scotland-based early career writers from backgrounds underrepresented in journalism, through a mentored, paid opportunity to be published by The Skinny. Three of the four writers will write two articles, and a fourth writer will be commissioned as the first Longform Emerging Writer, spanning two years (April 2025—August 2026), to write an extended piece on EAF’s first Early Career Artist in Residence.
