The festive season is well and truly underway at Scout! 🎄 Last night the team got together for our Winter Social at The Winters of The World, in Finsbury Square, for an unforgettable immersive evening of Après ski fun! 🎿 There were DJs and live Après-ski bands 🎤 along with games including: Eisstock 🥌 Jingle Bowls 🎳 Retro Snow Sports arcade games ⛷️ It was great to get (almost!) the whole team together before we wrap up for the year and finallllly meet some of our newest faces in person 🤗 We also hosted our first Scout Awards Ceremony - Celebrating some of the incredible individual performances this year and finding out who really is the best dressed of all! 👀 But more to follow on that, later... 🏆 We're now even more excited to see what 2025 brings us 🚀 Ed Jenner Tariq El Hafidi Bethany Millican Cameron Forbes Dominic Ryder Emilie Salih Hannah McSherry James Lawless John Donnelly Kaleigh Bullivant Kiran Taylor Kristi Routledge (Taylor) Kristy Carmichael, MSc, Anutr. November 19th is International Men's Day 💙 Today we celebrate, globally, the positive value that men bring to their families, friends, workplaces, communities and the wider world! Each year, we highlight mens contributions and raise awareness of men’s well-being - Most famously in November, with Movember 👨🏻 🗣️ We have some incredible men at Scout and today we celebrate them! Last night our top performers got together and celebrated our 3rd Chairman's Club! This month they went to Bocconcino Restaurants in Mayfair for the Thursday Dinner Party 🥂 🗣️ Special Scout shout out to both Kaleigh Bullivant and Bethany Millican for leading the way and qualifying for all 3 of our dinners so far! 👏 This month they were joined by Kristi Taylor, Tariq El Hafidi and September's Chairman's Choice recipient: Kiran Taylor 🎉 Some unbelievable performances from the team and what a start Kiran Taylor is having on his return to the business - 7 hires in his first 7 weeks at his new client 🚀 It was another great evening spent celebrating our successes and we are looking forward to seeing where our next location (with some new faces!) will be 👀

10th October = World Mental Health Day 🌍 This year’s theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health is Workplace Mental Health - Highlighting the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities 🏢 Yesterday, Scout's very own Mental Health First Aider Lucy McNally hosted a suuuper insightful session for the team around the following topics:   🧠 What is Mental Health? 📊 Statistics around the most common conditions • Did you know that Depression affects 1 in 5 people? • With 1 in 10 people experiencing Anxiety!  🤝🏼 Implementing a positive Mental Health Culture in the workplace 👩🏻💻 Understanding Mental Health & how it can impact our jobs 🤗 Implementing coping mechanisms - Some examples of things that work for us at Scout, include: • Social media breaks • Dedicated family "date nights" • Long walks • Socialising with closest friends • Self care (doing the things YOU love 🫵) • Exercise classes 🗣️ Importance of TALKING! We love this one at Scout and regularly encourage each other to feel comfortable sharing (or sometimes just listening!) through our following calls: • #BrewMonday ☕️ - We take 30 minutes to talk about anything BUT work! • Monthly Peaks/Pits calls 🏔️ - We reflect together on the previous month/quarter and share our personal peaks (high points or successes) and pits (low moments or difficult times) in a completely safe space ☺️ To round off our discussion, Lucy McNally left us with some top tips to help us ensure we are always feeling the best we can 👈 which doesn't always mean 100%! These were: 🎯 Set goals (even small tasks, like making your bed in the morning!) 📸 Remember that social media isn't real 🤗 Practice gratitude ❤️ Be kind, always 💚 Mental Health matters every day and not just on October 10th! 🚨 Exciting few days at Scout HQ! Wednesday night was the launch of our new Chairman's Club 🏆 Here, each month our top performers will be taken out for dinner (hosted by Ed Jenner, of course) and this month it was held at Ivy Asia! 🍣 A massive congratulations to Philip Beacom, Bethany Millican, James Lawless and Kaleigh Bullivant for qualifying and a special mention to Tariq El Hafidi who was nominated as our first Chairman's Choice for July, and also joined 🥂 But the fun didn't stop there 👀 🗓️ Thursday morning saw the whole team get together for 3 hours in the office, where our favourite Scout Advisor Ruth Penfold led some workshops and shared some suuuper inspiring insights around how we can better engage with our customers 🤝🏼 We followed this up with a team lunch at a Scout favourite: Flat Iron 🥩 and finished off with a Scout Sports Day in Hyde Park - With some very questionable rounders, corn hole and egg and spoons ⚾️🥄 (and even some magic from Cameron Forbes ♣️) Finally! We also announced our quarterly Scoutstanding winner - An award voted by the team to celebrate our MVP 🏆 🥁🥁 So a massive Congratulations to: 🥇 Tariq El Hafidi - Who's contributions to Scout over the last few months have been unquestionably incredible! We are super grateful for his hard work 📈 (special mentions also to joint second place 🥈 Philip Beacom/Bethany Millican and coming in third 🥉 Kristy Carmichael, MSc, Anutr.) It was really great to get the team together over the last few days and here's to an even more exciting second half of the year! 🚀

The Scout x Greenny results for May are in! 🌿 👣 2,979,019 steps 🌳 16x trees planted ♻️ 12 tonnes of CO2 Contribution Some very impressive numbers from our top 3 steppers 👀 🥇 Cameron Forbes 🥈 Kristy Carmichael, MSc, Anutr. 🥉 Philip Beacom We'd also like to give a massive shout out to 🗣️ Kristy Carmichael, MSc, Anutr. for absolutely smashing the May 50k challenge 🎉 Kristy walked an incredible 270km in May and raised £226 to support life-changing research into multiple sclerosis and better access to treatments! 👏🏼 and Bethany Millican who completed her 100 miles in May challenge too! 🚶🏻♀️ Betty walked 134.6 miles across the month (with her Mum, Nic), inspired by Cancer Research UK's challenge 🎀 We're looking forward to June! 🚀
