Yesterday, our Director and Head of Regulatory Compliance, Pearl Moses, spoke at the Law Society’s Annual Risk Conference, sharing her insights on a panel with Paul Bennett (partner Bennett Briegal), Elizabeth Rimmer (CEO Law Care) and Clare Hughes-Williams Clare Hughes-Williams  (partner DAC Beachcroft LLP) on the crucial role of compliance officers in shaping conduct and culture. In the session, Pearl explored how fostering psychological safety, embedding ED&I principles, and applying sound judgment can create a secure and ethical workplace. Using examples from firmwide training and practical strategies, she highlighted ways compliance officers can challenge undesirable behaviours and cultivate a culture of integrity. With her extensive background in legal regulation and risk management, Pearl continues to be a leading voice in the profession—helping lawyers navigate the evolving regulatory landscape with confidence. A fantastic way to end the week, celebrating International Women’s Day at the Setfords London office. To mark the occasion, our Wellbeing Team hosted a coffee and cake meetup for our consultants.
