Since the #publication of the LCA study for #Ammonia as a marine fuel, which SGMF conducted with Sphera, was released, the document has been downloaded over 1500 times, by many different stakeholders. With over 130 pages, it is a detailed document which requires some time to read and understand in detail. Lynn Loo Loo from Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD) proudly received a copy of the #bunkering #guidelines for #Ammonia and #Methanol from Mark Bell on the stand. Meeting the team and joining the #IMO lunchtime presentation, where SGMF and Sphere presented the industry's first #LifeCycleAssesment (LCA) for #ammonia as a #marine fuel; What a great first day on the job for our latest team member Badr Moutik. In his role as 'Technical Advisor - Maritime Decarbonisation', Badr will bring a lot of knowledge and experience to the organisation and we are excited to welcome him to the team. At least 12.000 steps a day, two full stacks of business cards and numerous inspiring and open conversations. Gastech 2024 was a great event and it fills the SGMF team with pride and gratefulness to see all the developments and progress within our membership towards the #decarbonisation of the #maritime industry.
