Following our precise tender return, we were chosen ahead of our local competition to replace the aged lift equipment and bring them into the 21st century. We will be providing a full turnkey solution, including all building works to effectively manage our clients requirements within the tight timescales requested. Yet another huge win for the Sheridan Lifts North team, and this site is just a stones-throw from our Head Office in Manchester! Sheridan Lifts are delighted to share our latest installation, this time right on our Head office doorstep in Northenden, Manchester. Working with our valued client alongside architect Calderpeel Architects, Sheridan were handpicked to deliver a flawless installation, to manage the immediate foot flow of residents within a new luxury development over 4 floors. As instructed, we installed an 8-person 630kg Traction Passenger Lift, complete with brushed stainless steel lift car doors. Our attention to detail stood out at tender stage, showcasing our flexibility to be able to work with our client for an ideal and seamless installation with limited budgets. With the lift now commissioned and handed over to our client, we look forward to working with the building team to now manage the lift maintenance for many years to come! Today we said goodbye to a close family and company friend, Elmer Kira. Elmer tragically passed away last month, and has left a hole in our family run businesses heart. Elmer began with us as a lift apprentice before moving over to our sister company Sheridan Concrete. His presence was felt for miles, with his infectious smile and flamboyant personality one of his many great attributes. He will be sorely missed by us all here at Sheridans, and our thoughts are with his close family and friends at this very sad time. Great day today as we completed the 2nd lift test out of 4 for our client, St. Edwards Hospital! This test involved a hefty 1000kg load and 13 persons, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team's dedication and expertise.
