The role will be responsible for the review of engineer’s recommendations and client requests resulting in the production of minor works quotations, securing minor works orders, procurement of parts and scheduling repairs timely with an admin team and repair teams under their control. Our London office and whole team is wishing Chris Wiszk a Happy Retirement 🎣 Chris (left) became part of the Classic Lifts London team after the acquisition of Kent Lift Services in October 2024. Having worked part-time, we knew it wouldn’t be long before he decided to hang up his tools for good. That day arrived on Friday, 31st January 2025, marking the end of an incredible career in the lift industry. Chris has been a true asset, sharing his expertise with the next generation of engineers and leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. Now, it’s time for him to enjoy his well-earned retirement—spending more time fishing and embracing the next chapter of life. 🎣 Chris, you will be missed by all! 🚀 Project Spotlight: Classic Lifts at Bognor Regis Health Centre 🏥 We have recently completed a lift modernisation project at Bognor Regis Health Centre, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable vertical transport for all. The job included: ✅ Removal of two outdated traction passenger lifts ✅ Installation of new shaft screening and steel stringers to support guide brackets ✅ Integration of duplex MRL traction passenger lifts for seamless service ✅ MP mechanical packages and new state-of-the-art lift controllers ✅ Painting of the lift shaft and making good builder’s works to landing entrances From start to finish, this project was delivered with precision and professionalism, as always showcasing Classic Lifts’ expertise in providing tailored solutions for complex environments. Classic Lifts London is recruiting for a Repairs Manager to join our friendly, ever expanding team. The ideal candidate will live in London, Kent or the surrounding area. The package is attractive with some excellent benefits. The candidate is preferred to be a seasoned professional with a strong background in repairs. They should also have previous experience in the role, be dynamic, flexible when plans suddenly change and understand the importance of delivering the highest customer service possible.
