We are hiring for a Contracts Coordinator role at Apex Lifts!    Purpose of the Role: 1. Assess the service needs of clients and link them to appropriate resources and providers. 2. Liaise with engineers to arrange night call plans. 3. Provide administration and support to the service department.  Main Responsibilities: - Provide administration service for allocated routes. - Accept deliveries of parts and catalogue them for the service department. - Assist with answering phones; helping to solve clients’ issues and logging breakdowns. - Book technician appointments and liaise with technicians to ensure appointments are agreed. - Assist Contracts Manager with monthly KPI reports. - Attend meetings as required. - Act as a point of contact for clients. - Log and allocate insurance items from reports received by clients. - Log and allocate calls for the routed area. - Arrange FOC and quoted works for the routed area. - Send on ‘shutdown’ reports. - Assist with decoding breakdown and service sheets when required. - Decode all repair sheets for routed area. Skills & Knowledge Required: - Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication and record-keeping skills.  - Ability to manage time effectively.  - Problem-solving and ‘can-do’ attitude.  - Professional and patient telephone manner.  - Located in or near Bexleyheath, Kent.   Core Values: At the core of every business are the values that bind us together. 🤝 From meeting, to work experience, to the future of the industry? 🚀 In December, we exhibited at a Kent school's careers fair. We met an ambitious young woman who was keen to get into engineering. She was keen to progress and brought her CAD drawings with her. Last week, we welcomed Annabelle* on work experience. She spent the week experiencing a number of roles including Service and Repairs with John Roberts, Sales with Rowena Montanaro and our unique workshop with Alan Simons. She's now considering undertaking an apprenticeship with us after her schooling! The lift industry needs new young people, and women. A new era of training at Apex Lifts has begun! Our Head of HSQE Richard Nelson has kick started his new training regime with a round of training on asbestos, dermatitis and needles and sharps. Richard is also due to kick start our new-and-improved training academy, which will serve to keep our engineers and those around them safer than ever before.

We're on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our busy, small, and highly motivated workshop team. Role Overview: The ideal candidate will bring experience and precision to this hands-on role, ensuring high standards and pride in every finished product. This position is based at our workshop in Sidcup, Kent. Key Responsibilities: Fabricating and working with sheet metal. Operating guillotines, lasers, and brake press equipment. Reading and working from detailed technical drawings. Following health and safety protocols. Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication. Familiarity with guillotine, laser, and press brake equipment. Strong attention to detail and pride in your work. Team player with the ability to work independently. Good health and safety awareness. Located within easy travelling distance of Sidcup, Kent (DA14). What We Offer: Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience). Permanent, full-time position.
