Russell-Cooke Silicon Cup Regatta

The Russell-Cooke Silicon Cup Regatta sailed ahead last week, with the firm serving as principal sponsor of what is the UK's largest IT networking event on water, held this year on 17-18 September from the Solent, Portsmouth. Our corporate and commercial team, led by partner Peter Jeffery, participated in the regatta and secured second place in the IRC 1 Class, whilst software developer Sage took home the top prize. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for tech professionals to network and collaborate whilst raising funds for charitable causes. We extend our congratulations to all the winners and runners-up, and thank all the participants. We look forward to continuing our support in the years to come. ⛵ What an incredible ride! Since 2014, it has broken new ground in inspiring deprived students, mostly from BAME backgrounds, to transform their lives through sailing at all levels, from dinghies to ocean racing. Andrew Simpson Foundation : The Sailing Charity: This foundation was set up in 2014 in memory of Andrew Simpson MBE, Olympic Gold and Silver medallist. Its mission is to transform lives through sailing by teaching young people essential life skills while promoting health and wellbeing.
