Last week, together with the client's representatives, we visited the Vandaglass glassworks in Steyr, Austria, where we were interested in the production process of glasses supplied to the La Maison LVMH - ATP project in Paris. Project manager Lucie Svamberkova also participated in the visit on behalf of the Sipral team, who states: "The most interesting part of the process is clearly the application of complex printing on jumbo format glass, 2.8 x 5.85 m."   Everything went according to plan, there was satisfaction on the part of the client's representatives. We are happy to cooperate with reliable suppliers at Sipral.   Pictures: by Martin Fučík #glass #suppliers #WeAreSipral

The Day of Architecture was successfully held with this year's theme Process of Transformation, organized by the Kruh association.   Sipral, like every year, is the sponsor of this unique project with the aim of promoting architecture. As part of the project, various workshops for parents with children, screenings, happenings, installations in public space, bike rides, cruises, theater performances, concerts and a number of informal meetings between city representatives, architects, developers and the public take place. The Day of Architecture also includes the Film and Architecture festival, which makes the topic of architecture accessible through film.   We are happy that every year we help the general public present high-quality and contemporary architecture, open it up for meaningful discussion and enable dialogues between authors and residents of cities and towns. #jsmepartnerem #architecture #WeAreSipral

Our Timber Square project in Southwark, London consists of two buildings. And since the development is partly a regeneration of a former printing house, the towers are called Print and Ink. We have currently installed the fourth level facades on the Ink building.   The uniqueness of the project lies, among other things, in the fact that the floor slabs are made of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber). Our engineers have designed a fixing system especially adapted for CLT, which ensures a seamless integration of the facade brackets with this state-of-the-art sustainable building technology. In other words: we do not fix our brackets in concrete, but in wood.   Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to push the boundaries of facade engineering and contribute to London’s evolving skyline. #FacadeEngineering #TimberSquare #LondonProjects #UnitisedFacade #CLT #CrossLaminatedTimber #Sustainability #ConstructionInnovation #Architecture #Engineering #WeAreSipral

The first shipment of glass for the Maison ATP LVMH project in Paris! The glass formats are in impressive sizes of 2.8 x 5.85 m. We decided to use the safest way of transport, namely special trailers, so-called inloaders, which are used to transport the basic sizes of glass, the so-called jumbo formats of 6.0 x 3.21 m. Jumbo sizes are commonly used to produce float glass for the building industry and are transported to processors where they are used to manufacture individual products such as double glazing, triple glazing, etc. A total of 4-5 such special deliveries will take place on the ATP project. Are you interested in how the shipment of glass went? We did it! We are excited to have been part of Canary Wharf Group’s SME SBTi Mentoring programme, supported by Heart of the City, which helped us on our journey to net zero. The programme enabled us to make steps to measure our carbon footprint, develop a carbon reduction plan and to set a science-based target.   At Sipral, we care about the environment in which we live, which is why its protection has become an important part of our company policy. For us, sustainability means that everything we plan and do is designed responsibly from a long-term perspective. This includes the environmental, financial and social aspects of our business, and goes hand in hand with an emphasis on the use of the most modern technologies from the most reliable suppliers, the availability and performance of our services. #CanaryWharf #ESG #SupplyChain #NetZero #wearesipral

After days of heavy rain and flooding in our country and neighbouring ones, Prague woke up to a beautiful morning today. The morning sun cast a lovely light over River City in Prague’s Karlín district, symbolically in places once devastated by floods more than twenty years ago. The office building Danube House, which was very modern for its time, was the first in the newly emerging part of River City in the Karlín district. We delivered the facade, the daring glass roof of the huge atrium, and the internal glass facades of the atrium twenty years ago. With a design by the architectural studio KPF, Danube House immediately became one of the most visible landmarks of this part of Prague. The adjacent Nile House, similar in style, followed the successful predecessor and together they form an amazing pair of buildings. Along with other gradually emerging buildings, all realized with our facades, they create a place we sometimes call the Sipral Showroom due to the high concentration of our reference projects. 😊 We love to bring our visitors – potential clients - here. Our very first job with CTR Site Services Ltd was Crown Street, two residental towers in Manchester. We had a trust in Craig, Rory, Dan and their new installation company so we gave them this job. Since then, CTR became a "member of a family" and were successfully working with us on London projects Lewisham Gateway, Wood Wharf J1/J3 and currently on Timber Square, project of Landsec managed by Mace. We thank you guys for your work and keeping high H&S standards, now again awarded for a month of August! 👌
