March 2025 Recap: Skyrora's Industry Engagement This month, Skyrora proudly participated in two pivotal events that underscore our commitment to innovation and collaboration in the UK space sector: 🔹 At NSSC Leicester, Derek Harris shared insights on nurturing young talent in the space industry, inspiring the next generation of professionals to shape its future. 🔹 At Space-Comm Expo London, our team was based next to the speaker zone which allowed us to engage with suppliers, clients, and notable figures. What an exciting time for UK space #innovation Our Director of Government Affairs, Alan Thompson, gave evidence alongside Scott Hammond and Dr. Adam M. Baker at the UK Engagement with Space Committee at the UK House of Lords. The discussions focused around the UK’s #space policies, and both the opportunities and challenges related to the UK’s engagement with space. The panel of experts highlighted how the UK is paving the way for an innovative and thriving space industry, and how we can help it continue on that trajectory. At Skyrora, we champion the critical importance of the UK having #sovereign access to launch. We also believe the space sector is increasingly becoming an essential driver of growth for the UK’s #economy and our #defence capabilities. It was great to see the Committee delve into #UKLaunch and the #Government’s role in this alongside #CommercialSpace, launch services and sites.
