I am happy to announce that I have received an invitation to give an oral presentation of my research, "Investigating Metastatic Potential in Papillary Thyroid Microcarcinoma (PTMC)", at the joint Irish-UK Endocrine Meeting (organised by Society for Endocrinology (SfE) and Irish Endocrine Society (IES)), this October in Belfast. I am also very pleased to share that my research, which I conducted under the guidance and immense support of Dr Antoinette Tuthill (Cork University Hospitals Group), will be published by Bioscientifica in the 2025 issue of the international journal, "Endocrine Abstracts", where I will be named as first author.

Excited to share that I've been awarded a Society for Endocrinology Research Grant! Very grateful for my first small grant and the opportunity to explore an independent project, "Exploring mitochondrial DNA in metabolic and endocrine disease: an improved bioinformatics approach." I highly recommend this scheme to Early Career Researchers in the field.
