IP5 Project – TRAMS Enabling Works Underway! This week marks the start of our site setup for the TRAMS Enabling Works at IP5 Newport, in partnership with NHS Wales. Martin Lewis & the TW Team have begun the internal rip-out, setting the stage for the next phases of work. Scaffolding will be erected this week by Spartan Scaffolding Solutions Ltd, ensuring safe access for our teams, and from next week, we’ll be moving into the roofing works. A big thank you to Green Hat Consulting for their invaluable assistance with site setup, CPP, RAMS, and health & safety compliance – ensuring everything is in place for a safe and efficient project. Exciting times ahead as we push forward on this important scheme. 🚴♂️ TW Group (South Wales) LTD is taking on a challenge like no other! 🚴♂️ From 8th – 15th February, our team will be virtually cycling 1,303km – the entire length of the Welsh Coastal Path – from our office. We have just 7 days to complete this massive challenge, all to raise funds for a very special little girl. 💛 For Sharelle – a brave little girl with the biggest heart. Sharelle Gilley is a 7-year-old girl from Seven Sisters, Neath, who lives with her mum, dad, and four sisters. She loves LOL dolls, Taylor Swift, TikTok, animals, and playing with her friends and sisters. She’s bright, funny, and full of life—a wonderful friend to everyone who knows her. But in March 2024, Sharelle began her second battle against cancer when she was diagnosed with AML High Risk Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Her only chance of survival was a bone marrow transplant, and her incredible sister Shantia bravely became her donor. Sharelle underwent the transplant at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where she and her mum, Jo, spent six long months battling complications, including Graft vs Host Disease, Thrombocytopenia, and a rare life-threatening condition called Thrombotic Microangiopathy (TMA). Through it all, Sharelle kept her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. 💛 Despite her incredible strength and resilience, her family has now received the heartbreaking news that no further treatment is available. Sharelle has returned home to spend the precious time she has left surrounded by the people who love her most. 💔 As a company, we are deeply saddened by this devastating news. At TW Group (South Wales) LTD, we want to do something to help. By taking on this 1,303km virtual cycle challenge, we aim to raise funds to help Sharelle make precious memories with her family and to support them financially during this heartbreaking time. 📢 Please, if you can, donate whatever you can.
