Great post Will, the clarity around hazard identification is vital. Generic assessments or vauge descriptions of the issue being assessed can often be misunderstood or misinterpreted. Being specific and providing detailed information about what the hazard is and explaining the what and why mitigating action are required helps everyone stay safe and is also a good source of education and continuous professional development. 👍🏻

My Co Director Paul Griffiths FIIRSM FIoL FSET CMgr FCMI provided an incredible insight into his late diagnosis Autism at the Cardiff city Stadium yesterday. Paul is very comfortable presenting, and made the 80 or so people in the room very at ease talking about his journey allowing them to share their experiences and questions at the end. In the time I have known Paul these are just a few of the amazing things I have learnt and that he shared with the audience yesterday to ensure they understood that Autism can also give to you. International runner for Wales Not a bad 5k time (15.14)! Can remember pi to 500 decimal places Dedication to routine like no one else I know 10000 hours of CPD In H&S Book worm Also… A lovely person Kind Considerate Although I will say an average poet lol Green Hat Consulting are blessed to have him in the leadership team. The loss of human life and sustaining life changing injury just for trying to make ends meet and support a family is abhorrent.
