I got bribed yesterday. The offer? $25 to write a 5 ⭐️ review of a product that I have never used, am not the target customer for, and know nothing about. The result (should I choose to accept)? One fake review - and countless businesses fooled into spending thousands of $$$ on the wrong product. Bribery. Lies. Deceit. This is the state of software discovery in 2024. And it is embarrassing. Prior to that he honed his skills at Trade Me, New Zealand's eBay. It's particularly exciting when a new team member adds massive value in their very first week, and Hayden sets the bar in this regard. We couldn't be more pumped for the future!

I was reminded of the trigger moment for Stackfix today. 2022. An Entrepreneur First company asked me what CRM they should use. Easy I thought. Been there, done that. I've got this. Cue 8 hours of endless Googling, trawling through blogs, reading fake reviews, asking mates and testing products. And I still only had about 30% confidence that my *shortlist* was remotely right. 8 hours to reach 30% confidence. In a shortlist. In other words, a joke.
