  • The scaffold is down at last in Whitechapel on the Peter & Painter House reclad project undertaken between Stanta and key client Hill Partnerships and we are delighted with the results and how well the project was run between our companies. The reclad of this 2006 development involved removal & replacement of over 1,800m2 of Rockpanel cladding including Insulations, Boards, Breather membranes and more. Stanta also replaced soffits to all walkways and communal areas. It was delivered through close collaboration with our Hill Group UK Client, Architect (ATP group) design team and Stanta designers in support. Well done to all involved in delivery of the project from Stanta including Jason Millar, John McElhinney MCIOB & Florin Rebrisorean along with our excellent installation teams. Many thanks to Hill Partnerships for the order.

  • Some complex SFS framing underway to form Mansards and Dormers on our Friary Park development in Acton for client Mount Anvil. Nice work from our design team and installers to form such hips, valleys and features. Stanta have almost completed the SFS framing on this phase of the project and the installation of NorDan UK Ltd Windows and Doors will not be far behind. This is another fantastic development we look forward to seeing the end results on. Many thanks to Mount Anvil for the order.

  • Paid a visit to the Perry Road development in Harlow today to check on the installation of our SFS package for key client Hill Partnerships and was glad to see another excellent installation almost complete. Stanta worked with voestalpine Metsec plc to prepare the framing designs in-house with support from Metsec on the engineering and specifications. The scope also featured Siniat weather defence board as the external linings and OBEX UK EPDM's and ROCKWOOL UK insulation. Many thanks to Hill Group UK for another order and well done to all involved in the design and installation.

  • It was a bright but bitterly cold day in Acton this morning but the sunshine allowed us to get some great photos of our latest new project in the region at the Lexden & Steyne site we have started with McLaren Construction Group. This is our first direct project with McLaren Construction Group since the Edward Street development in Brighton and the Indirect SFS works at Aldgate place and we are delighted to be back working with them to deliver this new regen project. Located in the Lexden and Steyne Road in Acton Town, 188 new homes will be spread across three buildings: an eight-storey senior living development with 71 units, a 20-storey residential tower with circa 111 units and a four-storey family block with six larger flats. The scheme will consist of 90 shared ownership homes and 27 market sale homes. Stanta scope includes all SFS framing, Benx Façades Y-Wall boarding, OBEX UK EPDM products and features the installation of Idealcombi UK Windows and Doors also across all 3 blocks. Works are well underway and looking good in the crisp winter sunshine. Well done to all involved in the delivery of the scheme so far. As always we look forward to the finished results.

  • The sun came out for a while in South London this week and we got some progress photos from the third phase of the Aylesbury Estate estate off Albany Road in Southwark. Stanta have been working with key client Hill Partnerships since 2019 on the development having delivered the SFS on the first 2 phases also making for a total of 49,900m2 of SFS framing across all 3 sites. Stanta also installed over 1,600 NorDan UK Ltd Windows and Doors on phase 2. Phase 3 features the Benx Façades Densglass sheathing board which is so distinctive with it's yellow finish. Joints are sealed with OBEX UK 0500FR EPDM and then walls are covered in URSA Insulation and ACS Stainless Steel Fixings Ltd Brick channel. Stanta also designed and supplied/installed all Window and Door support plates. Many thanks to Hill Group UK for the orders on this development, and credit to John McElhinney MCIOB for the photos. Another project we look forward to seeing when finished and scaffold down.

Sharing some photos from a site visit at our current Recladding development with Hill Partnerships/Hill Group UK in Whitechapel. The Peter & Painter House development was built in 2006 by Hill Partnerships and in line with new regulations has been subject to a full Rockpanel cladding & Insulation renovation by Stanta. Works to Balconies, Walkways, Soffits and facade are all part of the scope of works which was ably assisted by our in-house design office for key details and co-ordination. Stanta worked closely with the Architectural Design Team and Hill Partnerships to develop the design and scope and with the scaffold coming down now the project looks like the newly built development photos from 2006. Many congrats to all involved. We look forward to seeing the finished results.

Stanta are proud to announce that our in-house Design Team has recently achieved certification in BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 in partnership with the BSI.   BIM or Building Information Modelling is a process for creating and managing information on a construction project across the lifecycle of the asset.   One of the key outputs of this process is the Building Information Model, a digital representation that includes all aspects of the built asset identified as essential for its construction or management. This model draws on information assembled collaboratively and updated at key stages of a project.   Creating a digital Building Information Model enables those who interact with the building to optimize their actions, resulting in a greater whole life value for the building/project.   BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 for the Organization and Digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling establishes the concepts and principles for the management and production of information throughout the life cycle of buildings using building information modelling (BIM).    This milestone reflects our commitment to maintaining our industry's highest quality standards to align with the latest systems and procedures in modern design environments.    Stanta have been delivering high quality installer focused SFS design framing and it’s associated cladding and window interfaces to projects across the UK since 2010 and this latest accreditation to bring our procedures into line with BSI standards is a timely development in this new era of Building Safety Act pre-designed projects.    Stanta design and provide Steel Framing Systems, in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018. SFS framing included preparation of bespoke details, calculations, Window support designs, attendance at workshops, BSR applications and more as part of our overall service.
