Spotlight on 30 for 30✨ Green Welford aims to champion education and empowerment regarding climate change. They raise awareness of the need to live more sustainably, encourage sustainability across the community of Welford village, implement sustainable best practices and act as a point of contact for the community of Welford village on all matters relating to sustainability and green living. Funding was provided to expand the programme of events which they host, including clothes swaps, screening of environmental films, regular community drop-in sessions and much more. PECT also supported Green Welford’s annual KidsFest event which offered a range of free activities for families to get involved with. -------------------------------------------- PECT's 30 for 30 fund was launched to celebrate 30 years of the charity with nature grants for local community groups and schools.
