Over the Christmas season we gained a new referral partner 💜 Referral partners are the link between families and TMD, speaking to families about us, so that they know that we are there. For families that meet our referral criteria, this is also how families are referred to us, through referral partners submitting applications on the families behalf. Welcome to Invicta House, Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, a wonderful NHS team doing amazing work. A big thank you to both of the 2024 captains, Brenda Cliff & Steve Daly from Nevill Golf Club, for raising an amazing £12,924.50 for Taylor-Made Dreams! Collected by the chair of our Community Fundraising Committee Barrie Williams. In total they raised £25,849, with the other half going towards The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre. A truly fantastic fundraising total, supporting so much! 🌟 Your fundraising has an incredible impact on the services we are able to provide, supporting activities for our sibling support service, adding interactive tables for the technology loan library, turning dreams in to reality through wish delivery. In December we held our first ever Sibling Support Christmas party! This brought together our siblings and parents for a wonderfully festive fun time ... with Santa in attendance 🎅 The day began with a wonderful performance of Aladdin at the Assembly Halls, followed by a meeting with the cast! We then headed to Aura in Tunbridge Wells for the Christmas party for a lot of festive fun 🌟 This visit was made extra special by a number of individuals/businesses who donated the experiences for the SSS. Thank you to Neeraj and his team at Aura Tunbridge Wells for donating the venue, Pretty Little Gift for the donated bespoke TMD themed decorations, The Original Factory Shop - Crowborough for discounts on decorations, Stephen Johnson for photographing the event pro-bono, Larry Hardcastle for donating the food, Little Wolf Entertainment Ltd for arranging the meeting with the Aladdin cast, Ninju for donating drinks for the day and of course Father Christmas (Neil Long) for joining us! A visit from one of our memory keepsake creators, Wendy Kemp Jewellery 💍 Wendy recently visited an 18 year old TMD warrior in the hospital, to create some beautiful fingerprint jewellery. A Sibling Support Service fundraiser 💜 Maria, one of our SSS members, organised a year 11 school disco and raised an amazing £668 for TMD! Planning and hosting a fundraiser isn't an easy feat, so it's a fantastic achievement at 15yrs old 🌟 "For the people you love, whether they’re with you or not, you’re willing to do just about anything, including facing your fears.
