    🚗 Big Milestone for Altris in Sodium-Ion Battery Development! Swedish sodium-ion battery developer Altris AB has successfully raised SEK 150 million ($14 million) in a Series B1 funding round, attracting new investments from Clarios and Maersk Growth. The financing, as Altris stated, "will be used to finalize Altris’ pilot production facility, and thereby enable commercial production of sodium-ion cathode material for battery cells." The company is targeting sectors such as grid storage, low-voltage vehicle applications, and marine applications. As a result of the investment, Clarios and Maersk Growth join existing owners EIT InnoEnergy and Molindo Energy. Interim CEO Christer Bergquist expressed excitement, saying, “We are pleased to close the B1 funding round and excited to welcome our new investors to Altris, who are tier one players within their respective fields. I am proud of our owner list, which consists of long-term business partners contributing with extensive expertise and experience.
