    £17.5 Million Water Improvement Scheme Underway at Ballinrees Water Treatment Works, Coleraine. Northern Ireland Water have recently announced that a new £17.5 million project is underway at Ballinrees Water Treatment Works, Coleraine, with TES Group as the electrical and mechanical contractor. This upgrade, which began in March 2023 and is expected to be completed by early 2025, will enhance water quality and security of supply for approximately 75,000 customers in the Coleraine area, extending to Portrush, Ballymoney, Limavady, and Derry/Londonderry.     TES has recently been awarded a new major Framework Contract with Thames Water for the provision of MEICA services on non-infrastructure projects, which has a value of up to £5m. The 8-year Framework Contract will see TES deliver water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects throughout the Thames Water region. Thames Water is the UK’s largest water and wastewater services provider, serving 16 million customers across London and the surrounding counties. As part of the new PR24 Business Plan, Thames Water has committed to spending £4.7bn on its network and services in response to its statutory obligations, the critical need to improve asset resilience, and the delivery of environmental improvements. As part of this new Framework, TES will provide Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, & Automation (MEICA) services on projects throughout the Thames Water region, incorporating refurbishment, replacement and provision of new potable water and wastewater treatment assets, including service and storage reservoirs. The Assistant Switchgear Project Manager will also assist in defining the project's objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle.     TES have recently been awarded a new project to supply the LV power distribution equipment for a new 57MW data centre in London. The project will utilise TES’s vast experience in the manufacture of high-performance power distribution solutions and available capacity from the new Data Centre campus opened last year to meet tight project timescales. As part of the project TES will manufacture a large quantity of Form 4B Type 6 Construction LV Switchgear to provide critical power throughout the Data Centre building. TES were awarded the contract following a comprehensive tendering process in which a number of manufacturers were assessed across a range of areas including quality, lead time and cost. TES Powers in-house manufacturing processes guarantee cost-effective, competitively-priced systems without sacrificing quality.     TES have announced a new major project with a leading European Data Centre developer, the project will see TES manufacture a wide range of power distribution equipment including Modular Electrical Rooms in both POD and Skid arrangements for the ultra-efficient, carbon neutral Data Centres based throughout Europe. TES will be off-site manufacturing a large number of fully integrated Modular Electrical Rooms, featuring TES in house manufactured LV Switchgear in addition to UPS’s, Transformers and Busbar. The project will be 3D modelled using Autodesk Construction Cloud as the projects CDE (Common Data Environment) to ensure efficient and secure project collaboration. The project will be manufactured at the new TES Power Data Centre campus in Co. Derry, Northern Ireland, which boasts over 300,000sqft of additional capacity for the company.
