Lots of fun this evening with our #ShroveTuesday pancake race with our Schola Cantorum choristers from Dean Close School. Team Decani won the day! And a prayer from Evensong tonight… Almighty God, giver of every good gift, we thank You for the food that sustains us, for the joy of shared meals, and for the simple blessing of pancakes on this day. As we prepare to enter the holy season of Lent, grant us grateful hearts for all we receive and a deepened desire to share our daily bread with those in need. Teach us to seek justice, to act with mercy, and to work for a world where none go hungry. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Peace Doves Tewkesbury Abbey On display for 2 more weeks and coming alive in the evenings with the addition of Imagine Peace by Luxmuralis This is a beautiful blend of art architecture and the sentiments of thousands of people who contributed towards the project

Next week we host two concerts sung by our choirs, the Tewkesbury Abbey Schola Cantorum and Tewkesbury Abbey Choir, filling this ancient building with glorious music underneath the mesmerising Peace Doves exhibition by Peter Walker. Tewkesbury Abbey Welcoming All is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund; thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to invest in a range of activities to double the number of visitors to the Abbey, increase income and prepare the future needs of our buildings. As Project Manager for the project, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating all the activities within it, shaping and delivering the future plans and development of the Abbey.
