Just reflecting on two highly successful days at Christian Resources Exhibition in Milton Keynes. It was standing room only for David Saint and Sean Tully's Capital Appeals for Churches seminar on day one and a similarly big crowd on day two. We received dozens of visitors to our stand (right next to the seminar arena 1, which we sponsored), where Sean and Laura Treneer fielded enquiries about capital appeals, as well as general fundraising, strategic planning etc. We've attended #CRE for most of the last 30 years and this year absolutely validated our presence there. Sean took the opportunity at the end of the second day to inform the audience that they had just witnessed David Saint's final presentation after decades of attendance and delivery at CRE to literally thousands of churches. This announcement was met by a round of applause from everyone. Here are a couple of bits of feedback that highlight David's impact in this sector: "David's seminar just turned our world upside down. Suddenly it all makes sense!" "That's exactly what I needed to hear. I will take that back to my church to inform how we proceed."
