Up until 12th December, volunteers, communities, faith groups and social enterprises (VCFSE) have the opportunity to help shape the Government's new Civil Society Covenant. https://lnkd.in/eVFTakqa This aims to improve Government and civil society’s ability to tackle complex social and economic challenges by uniting the unique capabilities of the two to facilitate better outcomes for communities which would otherwise be impossible to achieve in isolation. NCVO in partnership with ACEVO are inviting civil society organisations to join this online consultation: https://lnkd.in/egrnCiuu #civilsociety #thirdsector #charity #voluntary
📢 Only two weeks left to share your views on the Civil Society Covenant - a new agreement aiming to reset the relationship between government and civil society. Complete the consultation form by 12 December: https://lnkd.in/egrnCiuu

For many years, Action Planning and then Stewardship ensured that there was an opportunity once a year for #Christian charities, church leaders and fundraisers to come together to focus on #faith and #fundraising. It was a place to learn together with those who understood our particular challenges and opportunities. Now Action Planning and Stewardship have come together with Yeomans Marketing and Fundraising to bring it back. The Faith & Fundraising Conference will take place on 26th March 2025 at the Royal Geographical Society in South Kensington. There will be a range of speakers, seminars, on-hand help and ideas from experts, and plenty of time for in person networking. Speakers and programme will be announced over the coming weeks, so watch this space. Early bird tickets are now available. #faithandfundraising25

Celebrating the (semi) retirement of Action Planning Founder and Chairman David Saint in London with friends, colleagues, clients and, of course, Bara. A lot of love in the room for a remarkable man with a deep well of experience, knowledge, wisdom, wit, kindness and charm. Leave a comment if you would like to add your well wishes.

Just reflecting on two highly successful days at Christian Resources Exhibition in Milton Keynes. It was standing room only for David Saint and Sean Tully's Capital Appeals for Churches seminar on day one and a similarly big crowd on day two. We received dozens of visitors to our stand (right next to the seminar arena 1, which we sponsored), where Sean and Laura Treneer fielded enquiries about capital appeals, as well as general fundraising, strategic planning etc. We've attended #CRE for most of the last 30 years and this year absolutely validated our presence there. Sean took the opportunity at the end of the second day to inform the audience that they had just witnessed David Saint's final presentation after decades of attendance and delivery at CRE to literally thousands of churches. This announcement was met by a round of applause from everyone. Here are a couple of bits of feedback that highlight David's impact in this sector: "David's seminar just turned our world upside down. Suddenly it all makes sense!" "That's exactly what I needed to hear. I will take that back to my church to inform how we proceed."
