A real privilege to brief UK Space Command's Adam M Bone and UK Space Agency's Paul Bate at the #DefenceSpace2024 following the announcement of the launch of the CySpace Cluster Capability Network (CCN). Delighted that #SpaceWest will be leading this Satellite Applications Catapult funded programme in partnership with Frazer-Nash Consultancy, Space Wales, Space North East England, Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Space South Central, Space East and NI SPACE. The urgency with which we must address the Cybersecurity of our space assets was a strong motif over this two days and it is the motivation behind the CySpace CCN. This is a collaborative endeavour leveraging the UK space clusters and we need your input and engagement. Read more about the CySpace CCN https://lnkd.in/guEZTdMg Great also to bring some thoughts to the 'Space Dragon's Den' around the role of academia in innovating at pace to deliver operational advantage. Please can we have a national Space research agenda. Thanks to UK Space Command and The Air and Space Power Association (ASPA) for such a well curated programme.

The continued global integration of space defence is impressive. Today, the space commanders of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Chile and Germany set out their views on how they are creating a global 'combined force' (not an advantage our adversaries possess).
