For hedge funds, inflation and rising travel costs are impacting expenses, but some COVID-era practices like virtual meetings and hybrid working are proving their worth. They're reducing the need for office space and helping keep breakeven points lower. Outsourcing continues to be a game-changer, allowing fund managers to control operational costs while leveraging specialist expertise and scalability. AIMA is pleased to announce the publication of a new resource for members: a Q&A on ESMA’s #ESG fund names guidelines. The Q&A provides answers to commonly asked questions about the guidelines including on their application to non-EU AIFs, on complying with PAB and CTB exclusions and on which terms are in scope of the guidelines. Today’s UK Autumn Budget introduced notable changes to the tax treatment of carried interest, impacting private market participants, particularly among AIMA’s private credit manager members.
