Today we celebrated #nationalyouthweek at The Bridge Academy in Lichfield. We spoke to the head Mr Payne who understands the importance of Youth Workers and how they enhance the curriculum in a School setting . We are excited to be working in partnership with the students for our annual social action project of Christmas Well Being Bags for members of Fun Club Hub. The students are excited to get started we are asking for donations from Face packs to Fluffy socks to fill 200 bags . We know we can do this with the support of the local community. So thrilled to be in such great company for the Staffordshire Virtual School's celebration events. We were recognising the hard work and dedication from individuals, schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts in developing RRP, RADY and trauma-informed, attachment aware approaches. We have been working on transforming the Cafe/ Chill out area in #thebridgeacademy Lichfield for some weeks. With young people on a social action project from .... *Prepping the wall. * Looking at ideas. *Researching styles colours,images to use. *Painting the wall white. Dave from @graffitiartistcom came in today to put all the young people's ideas together and make the magic happen . Plus 30 canvas with students names on to paint in. Well done to everyone that has taken part we think it looks amazing.
