Our vision is of a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together.
About us
Bats are unique and play a vital role in our environment but during the last century bat populations suffered severe declines. We are working to secure the future of bats in our ever changing world by tackling the threats to bats, from persecution to loss of roosts and changing land use. Bats are now protected by law in Europe, and in the UK some species may already be benefiting from the positive effects of conservation, but we have a long way to go to achieve our vision of a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together.

Our very own Joanna Ferguson wrote a wonderful piece for Roofing Today Magazine about how industry partnerships can benefit both people and bats! #BatConservation #BuiltEnvironment #Construction #Roofing #UrbanPlanning #RoofingToday
I do enjoy when I'm reading through construction magazines for work and find something unexpected, like articles on bats! Which makes sense to include in a roofing magazine, but feels like a little treat. 🦇 🖤 In case you're also interested in bats and conservation work (why wouldn't you be?), the article I'm referring to is 'The Bat Ridge Roost: An Industry Partnership Success Story for Bats and People' by Joanna Ferguson at The Bat Conservation Trust (p58) in Roofing Today Magazine: https://lnkd.in/ejB85QgX #BatConservation #Roofing #RoofingToday #RoofingContractor #ConstructionUK #Conservation #BuiltEnvironment
