It’s hard to believe that our Dr. Martens repair service launched one year ago today. We were very fortunate to partner with Dr. Martens on this and it’s been an incredible year for us. Here are some of the stats from the year.   Almost 3,500 customers Dr. Martens repaired.   1,500 refurbed Dr. Martens boots & shoes for resale, have brand new soles, welts & stitching.   5,000 of Dr. Martens boots, shoes, sandals and bags, refurbished & repaired and ready for resale.   Every resole has been carried out with huge support from Dr. Martens, who provided us with their manufacturing machinery to carry out each repair to the highest standard. The exact process used to make them new!   A huge thank you to everyone at Dr. Martens, and of course thank you to every customer, we hope that we have served you well.   It’s been an overwhelmingly amazing year and we can’t wait for the next one! Yesterday, we had a wonderful day at the Circular Fashion Network Event and Fashion Show! 🌟 Nexus Leeds, The energy, creativity, and shared passion for circular fashion filled the room, making it an unforgettable experience. Our panel talk on the challenges of circular fashion brought so much insight, and the advice given was incredibly helpful as we move forward on this journey. Huge thanks to our amazing panelists: @Susy Sheperd, Lauren Mason Natalia Willmott, and Sanduni Adikari. Your knowledge and expertise truly inspired us all! Shoutout to our incredible presenters: Laura Jane Fish, Sevraj Syed, David Lee Stothard- The Boot Repair Company—your presentations were beyond inspiring! A special thanks to the fabulous Rachel Hatfield BA (Hons), MSc, MBA, who did a fantastic job as our compere, guiding us through the event with such enthusiasm, and to Frances Dixon for managing everything backstage seamlessly. It was wonderful to see supporters like Councillor Mohammed Shahzad, Councillor Katie Dye and Dawn Bream meet faces like Gilda Smith-Leigh CMgr MCMI, and Sharon Kaur Jandu OBE, Sheila Kennedy. Time flew by so quickly—I wish I had the chance to chat with everyone! A massive thank you to the Fashion Fiesta CIC team for your dedication and hard work. Without you, this event wouldn’t have been the success it was. And to our incredible designers who showcased their stunning creations, you left us all in awe! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this important cause. We had an incredible time yet again at the Drapers Footwear Awards. We were particularly amazed to see we had received "Highly Commended Status" for the "Team of The Year" category. It's truly a special award to be commended for. Our team come from all walks of life, some have struggled with past life experiences and shown how capable and professional they really are. What an honour it is for us to have this team. We also had nominations for "Best Sustainable Initiative of The Year" (partnered with Dr. Martens) and "Best Marketing Campaign of The Year". We were again amazed to be nominated for the sustainable initiative for a second year in a row, and a new nomination for ourselves of marketing campaign. Huge congratulations to FAIRFAX & FAVOR and Dr. Martens plc for the awards they got to take home from the evening. It was great to catch up, we're looking forward to the future and working with you further!

This has been a difficult post to put together, but only for the most positive reasons. Last week, we had our opening party for our European site in Wormerveer. The response and support we received at this party was overwhelming. Setting up shop in Europe has been no easy feat, and would not have been possible without many of the individuals and representatives that attended. Whether it be advice from people who have ventured to the European market themselves, help in recruiting and giving people opportunities, or setting up logistics, it simply would not have been possible without you all. It was an immensely motivating day for us! Not that he would want to be mentioned, but our managing director Tom Forbes did an exceptional welcome speech to our guests and European team. Also hugely deserving of mention, is our European GM Andrew Jordan, who has set up this operation. He certainly did not have an envious position in all of this, but he has been integral to this new operation. As have all the new team that work with him in Wormerveer. We want to thank you all for your help, for attending and for indulging us with our opening party. P.S The Boot Repair Co. We are delighted to announce that we have THREE nominations at the upcoming Drapers Footwear Awards! We have had an incredibly busy year, and a lot of people have worked incredibly hard to help us grow. So being nominated for "Team of the Year" is very special. To be up for "Best Footwear Marketing Campaign" for our quick repair videos, is also a huge honour. Some of the other nominations in that category are crazy! And last but certainly not least. The "Best Sustainable Initiative of the Year" nomination partnered with Dr. Martens. An award that of course means a great deal to us. To be a part of this with Dr. Martens is difficult to put into words. We're over the moon and very much looking forward to the event. See you there!

Okay! We can finally, with much excitement, reveal that we have opened in Europe! It's been a tremendous effort from everyone involved, but we are up and running, helping repair footwear all across mainland Europe. Here's what we have available from launch: •ALL of our Walking Boot, Casual Boot, Birkenstocks & Redwing Repairs •Dubarry! Due to popular demand, our Dubarry Repair service is available straight from the European site! (Bootrepaircompany.eu) •ReVivo/Vivobarefoot, again through popular demand, the repair service will be available on the Revivo site within the next few days. Such an exciting time for us.
