We spoke to our Product Compliance Manager, Matt Shingles, to hear about his role at The Cotswold Company and the dedication that goes into crafting our furniture.   "I have been at the company for over 5 years and always had a career which is focused on product compliance, safety and quality. After many years of working with nursery furniture, it was great to be able to join The Cotswold Company and help develop this category whilst also supporting with all our beautiful ranges.   Our furniture is designed and built to last using premium materials, skilled joinery and expert craftmanship. To ensure each piece is safe and fit for purpose we conduct some rigorous testing, whether through certification at a third-party test laboratory or our own QC teams exercising due diligence within our factories. Our Flagship store is located in the idyllic town of Stow-on-the-Wold, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. This Grade-II listed building is filled with character and charm.   We spoke to our Showroom Manager, Mark Rochester about his role at The Cotswold Company.   "As a showroom manager no two days are the same, so every day is an adventure and every interaction with our customers is a pleasure.   One of the things I love the most is to inspire the excellent team we have and to see them develop and grow with smiles on their faces knowing we are all part of the TCC family.    What really inspires me is the way our customers welcome us into a very private realm of their homes, and recognise that we really want to give them the best possible home for them and their family.    This is very easy to do when you know our furniture is of the highest quality with timeless styles that will last. Last night, our team hosted a brilliant  fundraising event – Rumble in the Jumble – to raise awareness and funds for Emmaus UK an incredible charity dedicated to ending homelessness. Many of our team  contributed generously to the bake sale and bric-a-brac sale. There was even an interactive hook-a-duck game and raffle with some fantastic prizes to be won. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we were able to raise over £1,200. A huge thank you to the team who organised the event and to everyone who took part! #TheCotswoldCompany #Emmaus
