🏡 We’re inviting you to share your views on the government’s proposed ‘golden rules’. The government proposes a sequential test for releasing land from the green belt, with previously developed grey belt land being the first port of call. It also sets out requirements for additional contributions when releasing green belt land. These include 50% affordable housing, improvements to local and national infrastructure, and enhancements to accessible green spaces. Campaigner, actor and member of the House of Lords, Baroness Young of Hornsey has extensive experience telling truth to power.
