In recognition of #WorldMentalHealthDay yesterday, we took time out of our day to prioritize connection and conversation. We hosted a #TeaandTalk session, where our team enjoyed a warm brew and meaningful chats with each other and reached out to loved ones😊.  Following that, we indulged in a bake sale, with the proceeds going to the Workplace Mental Health Charter ™ UK. Then, we had some fun with a light-hearted quiz session that brought lots of belly laughs and wide smiles to the office😁. At The Housing Network 🏡we believe in #bettersupport, and our 24/7 helpline is always available for all colleagues—no matter the time of day. What a fantastic way to close-out our 'Strategy 2024/29 : Homelessness the Missing Piece' workshops with an outstanding group of dedicated colleagues 🌟 at The Housing Network . Over the last few months we have collaborated 🙏 with our teams far and wide as we share our ambitious five year strategy which will see us grow to provide 10,000 units of 'safe & inspiring' accommodation 🏡 for vulnerable people and families into 75% of Local Authority areas across the UK. And we’re live!🌟 Yesterday, The Housing Network marked the official opening of the ‘Active Opportunities Pathway (AOP): Live and Grow’ service in Leicester, and it was a truly fulfilling day for all involved.🤝 We were honored to have the presence of Leicester’s Deputy Mayor Councillor Elly Cutkelvin representatives from Leicester City Council, Ministry of Justice UK, our partner organisation #YMCA and local third sector organisations and homelessness pathway partners Homeless Link, Company Shop Group, Leicester's Homelessness Charter and Action Homeless Leicester.
