The Lord Mayor of Canterbury recently celebrated the topping out at Whitstable Heights, where along with Chartway Partnerships Group we’re delivering 400 new homes – including 324 desperately-needed affordable homes for local people. She marked the occasion with a tour of the site, highlighting the importance of affordable housing and the positive impact it’s already having on the local community. She also met Hyde’s Neighbourhood Officers for the development. The Lord Mayor was joined by the Lady Mayoress of Canterbury, Councillor Chris Cornell, Chartway colleagues and Hyde colleagues. To help celebrate Hyde Charitable Trust’s 40th birthday, we launched our unique Surprise Fund.
