The UK workforce employs approximately 33 million people, and Champion Health's latest data revealed that 12% of employees are experiencing suicidal thoughts. That's almost 4,000,000 employees who are contemplating suicide every single day in this country. Featuring over a dozen speakers including representatives from organisations such as Mind, PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, NSPCC and #ANDYSMANCLUB, topics covered will include support for those feeling suicidal, the impact of physical trauma on mental health, the impact of bullying in the workplace and much more. Issues will be discussed from a perspective of hope and what can be achieved if we are prepared to work together and share good practice to support those who are struggling with mental ill-health and suicidal thoughts.
