About us

The Tigers Sport and Education Trust is on a journey. Reaching the milestone of 30 years of operations amidst the 2020 pandemic. During the 30+ years the Football in the Community Project transitioned to a Charity in 2001 and has continued to grow and extend its offer beyond the football pitch but importantly using the power of the badge, Hull City FC. Located at the Tigers Trust Arena the charity provided support to over 30,000 participants each year through our core activity across Hull and East Yorkshire. We are essentially a small charity with a big heart. The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees and currently employs c40 full and part-time staff. We are a small team with huge ambitions. The Trust delivers a wide range of engagement and support programmes relating to physical activity and well-being.

Staff members Amy and Abdu along with Roary attended Hull City OSC's ‘Meet Hull City’ event last night at Blackburn Leisure Club in Brough ,where we hosted a stall spreading important information about what we do at the Tigers Trust. 🧡 We incorporated a fun competition for the young people to guess to the closest correct number of how many people we engaged with last year (36,155) - the winner won a signed football and the next closest won a Tigers Trust bag! The engagement was fantastic and a huge thanks goes to the OSC for raising important funds for us and also inviting us to the event! 🙌

Today we celebrated the launch of the Tigers Trust Girls Football Centres, led by our very own Georgia Field & had the honour of being joined by Carol Thomas BEM - Lioness No. Twenty Two & Alan for the afternoon ⚽️ Not the result we wanted on the pitch but we had a fantastic afternoon at Tigers Events at The MKM Stadium enjoying quality food & brilliant service in the newly refurbed Circle Restaurant. Thank you to Kappa for gifting the Trust the table to enable us to bring together our special guests & great supporters. Always a pleasure to be joined by George & Pam and thank you for your continued support for the Trust which helps us make a big difference for people across our local communities; to Louise Babych for support with our memorabilia & heritage work; Rachel Brocklesby and Sue Altass for being loyal friends of the Trust Next time I’m sure we’ll win the quiz! 🧡🐯 #hcafc
