After what has been a challenging week for many following the city centre disturbances, it’s worth reminding ourselves that it was only ten days ago that our city was awash with positivity for Pride in Hull . Through Ron Dearing UTC, I had the opportunity to spend last week gaining work experience at KCOM . I worked closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Portfolio Managers and other professionals to explore the various career paths available in this industry. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the requirements and future prospects of each role. Throughout the week, I participated in an engineering talk, engaged in user testing, and managed a mini project. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people. This opportunity allowed me to network with employees and establish connections that will be invaluable for my future career progression. Thanks to everyone at KCOM for a truly unforgettable experience
