Our iconic brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, are enjoyed and experienced throughout the UK and Ireland in cinemas, via our streaming service Disney+, on stage, online and through a wide range of consumer products sold at retailers and in Disney Stores. The Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) head office is based in London. This, along with nine Disney office locations across the UK, and one in Ireland, is the base for our 2,800 cast members who help tell our stories across the region. Congratulations to the nominees for their epic storytelling being recognised, and to all those involved in making these stories come to life.     👠"Rivals" pulled in a stunning SEVEN nominations, including David Tennant for 'Leading Actor', and Katherine Parkinson for 'Supporting Actress'     ⚡ FX's "Say Nothing" is up for four awards, including Lola Petticrew being nominated for 'Leading Actress', and Maxine Peake joining Katherine Parkinson in being in the running for 'Supporting Actress'!    🦦 "Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story" has been nominated for three awards ('Specialist: Factual', 'Director: Factual' and 'Photography: Factual')    🌍 FX’s "Shōgun" and "Say Nothing" were both nominated for the 'International' and 'Photography and Lighting: Fiction' awards    Other nominees include "In Vogue: The 90s" ('Factual: Entertainment'), "Extraordinary" (Bilal Hasna - 'Male Performance in a Comedy'), and "Tiger" (Nitin Sawhney - 'Original Music: Factual')    ...     Once upon a time… #OnThisDay 10 years ago Disney's live action 'Cinderella' was released in UK cinemas. A magical time on the lot when production #ShotAtPinewood across seven stages and the Backlot including the Grand Ball which was filmed on the 007 Stage. The studio gardens were used as the walkway that leads to the swing set, which shot on A Stage.

  • Congratulations to Disney+ and National Geographic for their wins at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards last night! 🏆 ✨   👠 "Rivals" star Danny Dyer took home the award for 'Supporting Actor - Male'. The judges praised him as he “gave a captivating performance of both real heart and vulnerability.”   ✍️ Dominic Treadwell-Collins and Laura Wade won the 'Writer - Drama' award for their work on "Rivals" . The writing was described by judges as “bold and totally assured in its very distinctive tone and style.”   🦦 "Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story" won the 'Science & The Natural World' award. The judges described it as “a piece of mesmerising television, which successfully combined epic scale with a sense of intimacy in telling the story of its subject.”

    Congratulations to the Sara Putt Associates Trainee Scheme & Foundation, this year's winner of the Duke of Edinburgh Film & TV Inclusion Award, an initiative that celebrates the inspirational work of individuals and organisations that help make the UK Film & TV industry more inclusive. HRH The Duke of Edinburgh presented the award to SARA PUTT ASSOCIATES during yesterday's award ceremony at InterContinental London Park Lane, hosted in association with The Walt Disney Studios and supported by Sargent-Disc Ltd. The Sara Putt Associates Trainee Scheme & Foundation was created by the leading UK independent agency that represents behind-the-camera production and technical talent, Sara Putt Associates, to support new and diverse talent. For the past ten years, through the trainee scheme and the foundation, Sara Putt Associates have been quietly helping to improve diversity in our industry, making those new, underrepresented voices more relevant, and after being given a pathway into the industry, they are helping shape their future. During a visit to Spain, Rachel Zegler, the star of "Disney's Snow White”, delighted audiences with a special performance of 'Waiting on a Wish', the first single from the film’s original soundtrack. Did you know - the Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval castle located in the city of Segovia, in Castile and León, Spain, was the inspiration for the castle that appears in the 1937 animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” ✨ "Disney's Snow White" is out in cinemas today!

  • Bless my soul, Herc was on a roll 🎶 The Muses from the West End production of Disney's Hercules, the electrifying new musical, belt out 'Zero to Hero' in a brand new music video. Catch our Muses - Candace Furbert, Sharlene Hector, Brianna Ogunbawo, Malinda Parris, and Robin Rose-Li – at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London from June!   The new stage is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott.
