On July 26-27, the National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS) , in collaboration with the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) and the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP), hosted an impactful Hepatitis Hackathon. I had the #honor of conducting an #idea generation #workshop during the hackathon. Participants actively engaged in brainstorming sessions, devising creative and practical solutions for hepatitis-related challenges. The collaborative atmosphere was inspiring, as attendees shared insights and developed innovative strategies. It's motivating to see young scientists and experts join forces to address such a critical global health issue. Their dedication and creativity are paving the way for a healthier future. To mark World Hepatitis Day, CFHI visited Jiwa community, where we educated 50 individuals on the critical importance of hepatitis prevention, testing, and treatment. We also provided hepatitis B and C testing for all attendees, highlighting the vital need for everyone to know their status in the battle against these diseases.
