Connecting the countryside - the CLA has penned a joint letter to the UK Government to ensure that Project Gigabit focuses on rural areas. 📶 Some reports have suggested that parts of the £5bn fund for Project Gigabit are to be spent in urban areas, taking it away from remote regions where the need is greatest. This has prompted the CLA to take action on behalf of rural communities, and our letter to government has attracted more than 50 signatures from opposition MPs.
