On United Nations Day, we are proud to announce that Innovo has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative. The UN Global Compact is a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices. It provides a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the organisation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 69 local networks. As part of our commitment, from next year we will begin sharing our United Nations Global Compact Communication on Progress (COP), demonstrating our ongoing commitment to responsible business action in support of broader societal goals. Dave Robinson CMIOSH, Innovo HSE and Sustainability Director, said: “As a firm that counts sustainability as a foundational component of its business, Innovo is proud and energised to have joined the UN Global Compact. “The commitment to create the world we all want is ingrained in our organisation, and we look forward to sharing our responsible business journey as part of the annual Communication on Progress.” #Innovo #UNGlobalCompact #Sustainability #UnitedNationsDay #UNgoals

Innovo has been named among the companies leading the way in the adoption of sustainable business practices in Dubai. At a ceremony arranged to coincide with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce Sustainability Week, we were presented with the Chamber’s “ESG Label” to mark our achievements in adopting and developing practices that have a positive impact on society and the environment, as well as promoting good governance. The ESG label is a framework developed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce Centre for Responsible Business and is designed to help organisations evaluate their ESG readiness and maturity levels and promote sustainable business growth. We gained this recognition, alongside 27 other leading organisations, following a thorough assessment that was conducted by globally recognised ESG experts. For everyone at Innovo, operating a sustainable business model is core to our mission. We are addressing our own operations and working across the value chain to meet new demands, and ensure a lasting, positive impact. Who we are, how we operate, and who we choose to partner with, are all guided by our commitment to drive our business without negatively impacting the environment, community, or society. We believe this award underscores our commitment to all areas of ESG and are thankful to people across our organisation and our wider supply chain, for their contributions in helping drive positive change across our industry and laying the groundwork for a more resilient and responsible future. www.innovogroup.com Dubai Chamber of Commerce Deepika Verma l Lisa Yousri #Innovo #DubaiChamberofCommerce #ESG #ESGLabel #BusinessInFocus #Sustainability #SustainablePractices

Safety and sustainability have taken centre stage this week for the WETEX (Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition) event in Dubai. Innovo HSE and Sustainability Director, Dave Robinson CMIOSH joined the exhibition as a guest panelist, taking part in a lively and thought-provoking panel discussion on the subject "Sustainable Health and Safety in the Workplace”. Alongside a panel of senior leaders from across industries, Dave talked through the challenges and drivers for businesses to achieve sustainable health and safety; the job of leadership; and the role of independent assessment and certification. Speaking during the session, Dave said: “Work shouldn’t only be somewhere to go for a job. It should be a place to improve your life. Whatever we can do to enhance our employees’ lives is crucial. People who are well looked-after, choose to stay in businesses, and we know that engaged employees are drivers for better safety and sustainability performance, too. So, I believe that issue of employee attraction and retention is a massive part of the occupational health, safety and sustainability discussion.” #wetex #wetex2024 #Innovo #sustainability #safety #innovation

Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pinktober, is a time to show our support for breast cancer survivors and raise awareness about prevention by encouraging regular screenings for early detection. At Innovo, we value our people and their wellbeing. It is of utmost importance for us to spread awareness and educate our employees about this disease and how they can prevent themselves and their loved ones from being diagnosed with it. We proudly wear our pink ribbons this month as a symbol of our solidarity with those who have been affected by breast cancer, and as a beacon of hope for a future where this disease no longer impacts families across the globe. #Innovo #Pinktober #BreastCancerAwareness #Health #Wellness
