Please welcome on board our new Operations Support Specialist, Nathalie Hughes! 🎊 🎉 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞...   𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: 23 years in Health, Safety and Environmental management for various companies ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to supporting different facilities management contracts. I currently work for an office design and fit out company, supporting all functions including finance, as well as HS&E co-ordination.   𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: Stable have a great ethos and approach to balancing work and productivity with team wellbeing. We are delighted to wish a big 'Croeso i Stable' to Kevin Jones, our newest addition to the team!     𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: Financial Assistant     𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: I was born in Watford & raised in Sunderland. After leaving school I worked as a civil servant for a few years before becoming a police officer for the next 30 years. I retired at 50 years old but still wanted a challenge so I joined North East Ambulance service for the next 10 years. My next life chapter is joining the Stable team.    𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐊𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: I wanted to be productive & work somewhere where my work is appreciated. Please join us in wishing a big 'Croeso i Stable' to the latest addition to the team, Jason F.! 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: Resourcing Specialist 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: Coming from a telecoms background at Virgin Media Business, then eventually joining as an FTC at Microsoft Industry Solutions, I am very familiar with the contractor lifecycle in the tech industry - in particular what they come to expect from IR35 roles. High skill professionals from all backgrounds are now heavily engaged in the contracting world, and we are now seeing record amounts of job hopping (supply) across the industry to meet the demand. Keeping on top of this increased tempo and building both contractor and client relationships is something that I take pride in. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: My first few impressions of Stable were that of a warm and welcoming small family business that invests heavily in their people's individual wellbeing and professional development. They truly respect the complex and unpredictable nature that people's life trajectory can take, and go above and beyond to accommodate. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Feel free to talk about wild camping, speciality coffee or PC building with me and we'll definitely get along! A big thank you to Cardiff Commitment and Ysgol Glantaf for inviting us to work with the Year 8 pupils on the tech section of their new Village project - an education exercise that involves the creation of a village from scratch. We had the opportunity to explore some amazing ideas from playgrounds and gyms that produce power to virtual community centres. It was brilliant to see the pupils engaging and collaborating together so well - we are really looking forward to seeing their outcomes!
