About us

Titanic Belfast®, recently crowned World's Leading Tourist Attraction, is an unmissable visit in any tour of Northern Ireland! Located in the heart of Belfast, the world's largest Titanic visitor experience sits on the slipways where RMS Titanic was built. The iconic building extends over ten galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features to explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way; from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day with a live undersea exploration centre. The building is also home to Northern Ireland's largest dedicated event and conference space.

We were honoured to host the UK’s leading tourism and cultural organisations this week for the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA) tri-annual conference at Titanic Belfast. Representatives from attractions including Warner Bros. Discovery, Blenheim Palace, the Roman Baths & Pump House, National Galleries of Scotland, National Museums NI, Westminster Abbey, and the Royal Albert Hall, joined us for two days of insightful discussions on the challenges and opportunities shaping the UK’s visitor economy. With Impact as the central theme, this was a fantastic opportunity to showcase Titanic Belfast to our industry peers and highlight the significant role we’ve played in driving inbound tourism not just in Belfast, but across Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland over the past 13 years. The conference experience began on Monday evening with a special pre-conference dinner, where guests were immersed in an unforgettable evening of culture and storytelling. The Spirit Circle brought history to life with interactive experiences, while Irish Entertainment Group – Ciaran Connolly captivated guests with music and dance. A guided highlights tour of the Titanic Experience set the stage for the evening’s grandeur. Fever created a stunning ambiance in the Titanic Suite, with the grand staircase illuminated by candlelight and performances by the talented ARCO string quartet. Harpist Ruth Corry added a beautiful touch with an enchanting musical performance. Our Executive Head Chef, Garreth Wilson, crafted an exquisite seven-course vegan tasting menu, using only locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. McAlinden’s Direct Wine Shipments provided their expertise and knowledge by perfectly pairing wines to accompany each course. It was truly inspiring to collaborate with so many fantastic local businesses across a number of industries, including Rebel Events Group, Revolution Productions, Elaine Hill and the Belfast Community Gospel Choir, who delivered an amazing performance during the conference. A huge thank you to our incredible Titanic Belfast team, who worked across all areas of the business to deliver a seamless, five-star experience for our guests as always. Finally, a special thanks to Bernard Donoghue OBE and the wider ALVA team for bringing the conference to Titanic Belfast. It was an invaluable opportunity to connect, share industry insights and work together towards enhancing our visitor experience.
