Located just off the A38 in Bromsgrove, this 72-bed, purpose-built facility marks another step forward in our mission to deliver exceptional care environments across the UK. Designed to provide high-quality residential and dementia care, this home will soon welcome its first residents, offering a safe, comfortable, and nurturing space tailored to their needs. ✨ PRACTICAL COMPLETION: Bromsgrove Care Home, Worcestershire ✨ A milestone achievement: our first care home in the West Midlands is now complete! We’re delighted to announce the practical completion of our 72-bed care home in Bromsgrove, located just off the A38, south of Birmingham. This state-of-the-art facility will soon provide essential care to the local community while creating new employment opportunities. The official opening took place on Thursday, 6th March. John Currie, Managing Director at Torsion Projects, commented: "The exceptional standard of workmanship at Bromsgrove Care Home is a testament to the skill, dedication, and professionalism of our construction team. Delivering a high-quality healthcare facility on schedule and to exacting standards is a fantastic achievement. A huge thank you to everyone involved!" 🏗️ PROJECT UPDATE: Topping Out at Lindley Care Home 🏗️ A major milestone has been reached at our 61-bed care home development in Lindley, Huddersfield, as we celebrate the Topping Out of the building. This marks the completion of the superstructure, bringing us one step closer to delivering this high-quality facility. With the superstructure now complete, focus shifts to the final parts of roof covering installation and commencement of internal works, including drylining and M&E. The team has worked efficiently to overcome early site constraints, ensuring steady progress throughout. A huge thank you to our site team and project partners for their dedication in reaching this key stage. We look forward to the next phase as we move towards completion. 🚧 PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT: Pool Road, Otley 🚧 We’re pleased to share that construction is now underway on our latest care home development at Pool Road, Otley. Following the recent planning approval site acquisition, the Torsion Projects team has begun groundworks, including establishing the site entrance and welfare compound, installing new foul drains on site and demolishing an existing dwelling. Funded by Elevation and set for completion in 2026, this 3-storey, 66-bed care facility will provide specialist, high-quality care on land adjacent to Otley Garden Centre. Nestled within mature gardens and trees, the design reflects a commitment to sustainability, targeting EPC A certification. This all-electric scheme will incorporate air source heat pumps (#ASHP) and photovoltaic panels (#PV) while aiming for a BREEAM In Use ‘Excellent’ rating. A big thank you to our team for their hard work and dedication in advancing this project. We’re proud to collaborate once again with our joint venture operator, Tanglewood Services, to deliver a modern, purpose-built care home that will serve the community for years to come. The scheme targets an EPC A rating, featuring air source heat pumps (ASHP), photovoltaic panels (PV), and aims to achieve a BREEAM In Use ‘Excellent’ rating.   With planning approval secured, groundworks and site operations will commence soon, including site preparation, drainage installation, and the demolition of an existing dwelling.   A huge thanks to everyone involved in bringing this development to life.
