We are excited to share the remarkable strides our head office has made in its commitment to sustainability. Our collective efforts have significantly reduced our carbon footprint by installing solar panels and introducing an electric vehicle fleet.   In our first year, our solar panel system generated an impressive 8,248 kWh of clean energy, covering 40% of our electricity needs and leading to a CO2 reduction of 19.81 tonnes—the equivalent of planting 911 trees!   Our efforts have not only generated £5,934.88 in social value but also showcased the positive impact our commitment to sustainability has on both the economy and the environment. As a testament to our expertise, TP Landscaping is proud to continue our partnership with Taylor Wimpey plc. We have transformed over 3,000 square metres of the Podium area at the new Coronation Square development in Leyton. This vibrant oasis features a blend of hard and soft landscaping, creating an inviting atmosphere for residents and guests. At the heart of the Podium, over fifty magnificent trees and lush greenery frame communal walkways and private terraces enhanced by our striking Midnight and Barley Butter resin pathways guiding residents and visitors through this enchanting space. Highlights include a bespoke timber pergola and two charming timber arbours, all crafted from certified African Iroko. There are also colourful play areas, and a secure nursery play area complete with a sandpit. This thoughtfully designed outdoor space is perfect for relaxation and play and we are excited to play a part in its heritage. TP Surfacing & Coatings recently upgraded the wooden stair treads and landings at a social housing block in Fisherman Hill, Gravesend, Kent on behalf of our client Axis Europe. As an approved Contar Resins installer, we used the Contar Dekor System, designed for stairwells and walkways, which cures quickly for a durable, slip-resistant finish. This project included sanding down treads, installing DDA-approved aluminum nosings, and coating the landings with the decorative quartz flake system. Backed by a 10-year guarantee, regular inspections, and maintenance support, this upgrade enhances resident safety by adding extra grip underfoot, while the stair nosings help protect stair edges from wear and offer slip-resistant properties, reducing the risk of accidents. At the TP Group, we’re proud to support FoodCycle’s mission to tackle food poverty, loneliness, and food waste. Since the summer, some of our staff have been volunteering monthly in Springfield, Chelmsford, helping to prepare and serve nourishing meals made from surplus food.
