  • We recently had a personal tour of the new Combination Mill at Corby by Mechanical Engineer, Project Aurora, Ian Still, who talked us through the equipment and different sections of the mill. We’re still testing and commissioning the equipment, and we were able to get up close due to a break in the programme. Here’s what we found out >

  • Yesterday and today we’ve been saying an extremely fond farewell to our Senior Account Manager, John Lawson who after 39 years is retiring from the commercial world of tubes at Corby. From joining British Steel as a Graduate Trainee, John’s many roles have included Commercial Analyst, Product Manager, Bid Manager and for the last 25 years, Sales & Account Manager for speciality tube and line pipe. We know retirement won’t be quiet and slow though. As a keen cyclist we understand John has some ‘epic’ journeys planned. With all our best wishes, ‘Thank you John. Enjoy!’ 👏🍾🥂🚲⚽
