It's #EnglishTourismWeek25, a key time to recognise the importance of #VisitorAttractions to our sector. One of Newcastle Castle's main revenue streams as a charity is visitor admissions. So connecting to TXGB via FareHarbor enabled them to expand their reach + drive more awareness and bookings through new channels, including their local destination + the VisitBritain Shop. #MakeBritainBookable NewcastleGateshead Initiative

In #EnglishTourismWeek25, it's important to highlight how attractions like Adventure Valley Durham can reach a wider audience, attract new customers + encourage repeat bookings, simply by connecting to new channels. A simple link to TXGB via their ticketing software DigiTickets delivered amazing results for the business, who were able to share live availability on new channels including their local destination websites + the VisitBritain Shop. Many thanks to the panelist’s in our session today, Catherine Warrilow 😊, Nicholas Hall and Janet Uttley! With such deep expertise on stage we were able to unpack some of the issues faced by the cultural sector when it comes to ticketing, technology and distribution, offering a range of insights. I must thank you all for your kind words of support for our work at TXGB (Tourism Exchange GB). We know that a more connected sector will be a more prosperous one, and today really reaffirmed this. Thanks also Tom Cassidy from Liverpool Football Club for the shout out you gave us in your talk yesterday, very much appreciated. Finally, thanks to Gordon Morrison the CEO of Association for Cultural Enterprises for bringing the sector together around central issues. Digital Tourism Think Tank / The Plot / VisitEngland
