This time we are partnering with UofG Games and Gaming Lab and we have a new twist, you and your team will be developing a business idea in the world of Star Wars! It all kicks off at 17:30 on November 22nd and will run until the afternoon of Sunday November 24th. You can register as an individual or as a team with 3-5 team members. Join us for the exclusive launch event featuring two high-profile guest speakers to learn about the ups and downs of their own entrepreneurial journeys, participate in a panel Q&A, and enjoy drinks and a light buffet while networking with like-minded colleagues from across the University. One of the more popular sectors we talk to people about is Education Technology (EdTech). But did you know in Scotland, the EdTech sector between 2021 and 2023 only raised £565,000 in funding? That funding came from grants such as SMART Scotland and UKRI, not through equity investment.

Did you know that since the Covid Pandemic, the top sectors which have raised investment in Scotland include Life Sciences, Medical, Cleantech, and Food and Drink? In total, these 4 sectors raised over £400,000,000 in investment across 54 deals. Making each deal worth an average £7.4 million!
