For more than a decade, Jason has successfully led teams, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. To stay at the forefront of technology, he actively contributes to open-source projects, ensuring his technical skills remain sharp and relevant. We are excited to welcome Petrus van Beek to the Valarian team as our new Staff Engineer! Pieter’s career took off at the Amsterdam Academic Compute Centre Foundation, where he was instrumental in building large-scale simulations and data processing pipelines for the national compute cluster and the European LHC computing grid. In 2013, Pieter founded a startup specialising in end-to-end encrypted file hosting and exchange, showcasing his innovative spirit and deep commitment to data security. More recently, he worked with the City of Amsterdam to design and develop a GDPR-compliant data sharing platform that handles the exchange of highly confidential information with external parties. We are confident that Pieter’s enthusiasm and expertise will be invaluable to Valarian as we continue to innovate and expand. Welcome aboard, Pieter! We’re thrilled to have you with us! 🎉👏
