Foot Locker EMEA has opened its first store in India, located in New Delhi's Nexus Select City Mall. Spanning 4,888 square feet, the new Foot Locker store is a result of a strategic collaboration between Metro Brands Limited and NykaaFashion. Cherry Grewal, Foot Locker's District Sales Manager, celebrated the opening of Foot Locker India at Nexus Select Citywalk in Delhi on October 19th, 2024. She praised the team's dedication and hard work, calling them the "first-ever stripers of India." The platform will launch with a carefully curated collection of contemporary fashion brands, featuring Paul Smith, A.P.C., Ganni A/S, Verja, Marc Jacobs, and TORY BURCH, and will operate on a wholesale model. Nike has announced two new appointments to its senior leadership team, with Ann Miller and Rob Leinwand taking on key roles. Ann Miller, with nearly 18 years at Nike and currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, will become the Executive Vice President of global sports marketing, succeeding John Slusher, who will retire later this year after 26 years with the company. Elliott Hill, president and CEO of Nike, Inc, stated "Ann possesses a unique blend of athlete mindset, deep legal expertise, and exceptional leadership. Levi Strauss & Co. has named Dario Aguilar as the Managing Director for Latin America, with the appointment set to take effect on December 2, 2024. The company noted that Dario Aguilar brings over 25 years of commercial experience, having most recently served as CEO of SEPHORA Mexico. The RealReal has announced the appointment of Rati Sahi Levesque as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding John Koryl, effective immediately, and has raised its profit guidance for fiscal year 2024. Levesque, who was among the founders of The RealReal back in 2011, has held various leadership positions across multiple areas of the business over her 13-year tenure. Karen Katz, the Chairperson of the board, stated that Levesque had been “pivotal in formulating and executing the recent strategic shifts that have propelled the company on its path to profitability.” The RealReal has updated its preliminary Q3 results, projecting Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of $433.1 million and total revenue of $147.8 million. This positive outlook has led to an increased fiscal year 2024 guidance, with revised GMV expectations of $1.810 billion to $1.826 billion, up from $1.790 billion to $1.890 billion. Total revenue is now anticipated to be between $595 million and $609 million. Levesque expressed satisfaction with the strong preliminary third-quarter financial results, which allowed the company to raise its full-year guidance.
