Nike appoints new North American GM 👏 The global sportswear giant has revealed the appointment of Tom Peddie as Vice President and General Manager of its North America operations. Peddie, who recently returned to Nike as VP of Marketplace Partners, will take up the position on 21st October following the departure of Scott Uzzell. He will be tasked with leading all aspects of the brand's North American operations including Direct, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Consumer Construct and Territories. Pandora appoints new CMO 👏 The Danish jewellery manufacturer and retailer has appointed Berta de Pablos-Barbier as its new Chief Marketing Officer. De Pablos-Barbier joins the company from the LVMH-owned Moët & Chandon where she served as President and CEO for over three years. She has also worked for other high-profile brands including Lacoste as CMO and Kering-owned jeweller Boucheron as VP of Marketing and Communication. In her new role at Pandora, she will be responsible for executing the company's strategy to enhance its global visibility and reposition its image among consumers as a global jewellery brand. Revlon reveals new CEO 👏 The American cosmetics company has announced the appointment of Michelle Peluso as its new Chief Executive Officer. Peluso brings over three decades of executive experience to the brand and joins the business from CVS Health, where she served for almost four years in various roles including Chief Customer Officer and EVP & Chief Customer and Experience Officer. Earlier in her career, she held Global CMO roles at IBM and Citi, as well as CEO roles at digital commerce companies Travelocity and Gilt. She also currently serves on the board of directors at sportswear giant, Nike. Following news of the appointment, Elizabeth Smith, who had been serving as Interim CEO and executive chair of the board since August 2023, will continue in her role as executive chair.
