Today some of the VisitAberdeenshire team headed to The Boat Inn in Aboyne for an adventure tourism-themed session with tourism and hospitality businesses. 🚴🏻♂️ The objective of the session was to delve a little deeper into the adventure tourism market, and to find out more about ‘Phil’ - a persona created with an interest in mountain biking. The session also highlighted the opportunities in this growing market, and how to appeal to audiences like ‘Phil.’ Chris Foy | Kayleigh McLeish | Maryn Grieve | Deirdre O'Donnell | Laura Delaney MCIPR Chart.PR | William Clarke | Lorna Carnegie | Opportunity North East Limited

Today marks day one of appointments and is a perfect opportunity to look over the past few days organised by the fantastic team at Scottish Golf Tourism Week. This is just a wee snippet to show how much fun we have up here in the north east. Myself and Millie Clarke from VisitAberdeenshire will be at table 75 over the next 2days and we are excited to tell you all about the fun activities you can do once you’ve won at the golf for the day (although, I’ve never met a golfer who tells me they are the winners)! I am looking forward to collating all the fun pictures the #aberdeenshire fam took but I couldn’t start the day without that little bit of sunshine ☀️ #visitabdn #sgtw25 #golfaberdeenshire #scottishgolftourismweek
