Voluntary Support North Surrey (VSNS) is an independent charity that supports approximately 1,500 voluntary and community organisations within the three boroughs of Runnymede, Spelthorne and Surrey Heath and their 300,000 residents. "Ben enjoyed the drive and the scenery so much we discussed the possibility of me taking him our for some local drives during our weekend meet-ups!" 🆕 Voluntary Support is excited to host a new forum focused on improving the lives of older people (55+) in our community on Tuesday 24 September. This online event will highlight services available, discuss funding and development opportunities and address challenges faced by this age group. It's a valuable way for people to connect and share practice and information. The first Runnymede forum will also provide the chance to hear the findings from the current activity survey being run by Runnymede Borough Council. Anyone who works for an organisation with a connection to older people (there's no defined age, but approximately 55+) is welcome, whether their focus is tackling isolation, age-related physical or mental health or another service.
