About us

Wagstaff Interiors Group is one of the largest independent interiors companies in the UK. We have a broad range of linked offerings including interior design, interior fit-out, design and build, furniture solutions, move management and hire services. We have also launched a great Online Shop. This year we celebrate 120 years of trading! With this many years under our belts, our longevity gives us a depth of experience and an impressive history of achievements. Our market leading position has been achieved on the basis of repeat business, which we have secured because of our core values of long-lasting quality product, high quality service and customer satisfaction. As an independent company, we have the capacity and trading relationships in place to service the requirements of any contract. In today’s uncertain world, Wagstaff is a brand you can trust. This year, we have expanded our operations to open an online office furniture store. There's now stylish office furniture available for every workspace and company size. • Harriet Taylor is the next team member we are excited to introduce! Harriet caught the furniture bug after graduating with a BA in History of Art and Design, when she began working for one of the most reputable and long-standing furniture consultancies in London. These days, she enjoys representing Wagstaff in Scotland, and loves collaborating with architects and designers to deliver fun and innovative spaces. With over a decade of experience behind her, Harriet can skilfully manage all aspects of FF&E projects, from specification, planning and budgeting, to procurement and installation. Harriet’s work spans high-profile commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors, showcasing her ability to collaborate with top clients like Virgin, InterContinental Hotels Group, Gordon & MacPhail, and the NHS. She has a long-standing passion for Scandinavian design; her favourite brands include Menu and CARL HANSEN & SØN, and she especially loves the work of modernist architects and designers such as Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner, and Eero Saarinen. Her love for design is matched by her enthusiasm for building relationships across the industry, and she enjoys the unique blend of creativity, travel, and connection that her work allows. Outside of work, Harriet can found adventuring and hiking in nature, staying active on the yoga mat, and relishes spending time with her young family.

  • First introduction of the year, the longest standing member of the Scotland team. Regional Director John Brown. Read below to learn a little bit about Johns background and career. From Labourer to Regional Director: A Career of Growth and Excellence Starting as a site labourer for fitters, my 23-year journey to becoming Regional Director for Wagstaff in Scotland has been marked by hands-on experience, problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence. Along the way, I’ve built strong partnerships and led significant projects that define my career. Building a Career from the Ground Up I’ve grown through various roles—from labourer to fitter, site supervisor, logistics manager, and eventually Regional Sales Director in 2003. Each position taught me valuable lessons, shaping my ability to manage teams and oversee large-scale operations effectively. Collaborating with Leading Brands At Wagstaff, our partnerships with the UK’s top office furniture manufacturers have been vital in delivering high-profile projects such as Aker Solutions, Ulster University, Scottish Courts, and HMRC. These collaborations exemplify our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction. Leadership and Milestones As a leader, I focus on fostering strong relationships across our team and supply chain. A career highlight was leading Scotland to become the first Wagstaff region to surpass £5 million in turnover in 2008—a testament to strategic vision and teamwork. Lessons and Growth Mistakes, like a memorable early-career delivery mix-up, taught me the importance of attention to detail and continuous learning. These experiences fuel my passion for guiding my team and ensuring successful project delivery. Looking Ahead Reflecting on this journey, I’m excited to continue building on our successes, supporting my team, and delivering excellence for our clients. The road ahead is full of opportunities for growth and achievement. Here’s to more milestones to come!
